How to get here
Palexpo Locarno is located about 1 km from Piazza Grande and can be easily reached in about 15 minutes on foot from the city centre.
It also has its own bus stop called "Palexpo", which can be reached in only 5 minutes both from the Locarno-Muralto railway station and from Ascona, using the bus line 1 or line 316.
For those arriving by car, ample parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
Palexpo Locarno also has a Bike Sharing station.
By bus
From Locarno railway station take Bus line 1 towards Ascona or line 316 towards Brissago: in only 5 minutes you will reach the bus stop “Palexpo”.

By train
From Northern Europe and from the german part of Switzerland use the international railway Basel-Milan or Zurich-Milan with its direct trains, Intercity and Eurocity to Bellinzona, then change train direction Locarno.
From Domodossola (along the Simplon international line) narrow-gauge international Centovalli line.
With the Milano-Centrale via Como-Lugano line you can get to Locarno both with Intercity or Eurocity and with TILO trains, with connecting trains in Giubiasco or Bellinzona.
From Locarno railway station take Bus line 1 towards Ascona or line 316 towards Brissago: in only 5 minutes you will reach the bus stop “Palexpo”.
By car
From South: highway “Laghi” from Milano to the swiss boarder Chiasso-Brogeda, continue on the A2 highway direction North, exit “Bellinzona Sud”. Continue on the main road direction Locarno; after Magadino airport enter the motorway (2nd exit). Continue until the exit of the Mappo-Morettina tunnel, direction “Locarno Centro”. At the big roundabout take the first exit and continue for about 300m. You will find the Palexpo Fevi on your left next to the first aid center, home of the local police station and firefighters.
From North: highway A2 exit “Bellinzona Sud” and follow the signs to Locarno. As an alternative, through the Simplon, following the E62 until Domodossola, then follow the signs to Locarno and the SS337 (Vigezzo valley).
By plane
From Zurich airport there is a train every 10 minutes going to Zurich main station, where you can take the connection train to Bellinzona and Locarno every hour (length of the journey about 3 hours).
From Milano Malpensa airport you can take the shuttle bus direction Chiasso/Lugano and then change to the connecting train to Locarno (length of the journey about 2.5 hours).
Or take the TILO train (line S50) to Bellinzona and then change to the connecting train to Locarno (length of the journey about 2.5 hours).
